The publication presents the results of the National Population and Housing Census 2021, conducted from 1 April to 30 September 2021. The publication is a thematic study dedicated to the demographic and social characteristics of households, families and the population comprising them. The study contains an analytical commentary, enriched with a graphical presentation in the form of maps and charts, as well as methodological notes describing the basic principles, concepts and definitions. The analytical section characterises households and the families that comprise them. The publication includes data on the number, size and generational composition of households, as well as the number and types of families. The basic data is shown against the background of national results and in comparison with the previous census.
