Tasks:

• serving statistical information users on the data sources, availability and dissemination,

• presenting statistical information concerning the territory of the Małopolskie Voivodship to govermental administration bodies, local self-goverment bodies as well as other recipients,
• preparing analytical reports and publications on the socio-economic situation in voivodship and elaborations on particularly significant processes occurring in the region,
• cooperating with universities, R&D entities, government and local self-government entities and entities of the social economy sector, including conferences and seminars on regional subject holding and attending,
• recognition of demands for statistical information and analyses by regions on the territory of the Małopolskie Voivodship as well as designing methods and forms of their fulfilment,
• conducting works in the field of propagation and promotion of statistics and statistical knowledge, of which statistical education;
