Duties

Statistical Office in Kraków belongs to public statistic services subordinated to Statistics Poland of:

• law dated 29th June 1995 on public statistics (Journal of Laws in 2012, item 591 with later amendments),
• law dated 21st November 2008 on civil service (Journal of Laws No. 227, item 1505),
• instruction No. 5 of the President of the CSO dated 21st March 2012 on detailed scale of duties and organization of the SO in Kraków (CSO Office Journal item 15),

Information centre and library are located on the premises in Kraków (room 6) and branches in Chrzanów, Nowy Sącz, Tarnów and Zakopane.  More >>>
Duties:

• dissemination by telephone, correspondence and personally: statistical data from publications of CSO and SO official statements of CSO and SO
• informing about new publications of CSO and SO, publications accessible in Office`s Library, publications accessible on sale
• receiving orders for unpublished statistical data from SO data bases, realization of statistical description on the base of information published by CSO

REGON service

Issues related to the official national register of economic entities are carried in the Company headquarters in Kraków Office (ground floor) and in the branches: in Tarnów, Nowy Sącz, Zakopane and Chrzanów. More >>>

Information on entities registered in the province of southern Poland, contained in the Company register may be made ​​available to all interested parties upon written request. Information on paid and unpaid basis to share data are located on the website of the CSO: Rules for providing access to data from the REGON register. 

Orders must be submitted by mail, fax or directly by the Secretariat of the Office.  

Support people with disabilities

Office building is designed to support disabled people in wheelchairs, equipped with lift.

Since April 2012, there is also the possibility to use the assistance of a sign language interpreter.
