Summary:
Year 2013 is a special year for the statistics associated with the celebration of the International Year of Statistics and the 95th anniversary of the Central Statistical Office, which is why I am pleased to present you in such a unique year, next, already the tenth edition of the publication Małopolskie Voivodship - Subregions, Powiats, Gminas.
The elaboration presents data in spatial terms for 2012 characterising living conditions of the inhabitants and the state of economy of the Małopolskie voivodship.
The thematic layout and the form of data presentation has changed slightly in relation to last year’s edition. In the current edition of the publication the scope of data has been enhanced with new information regarding i.e. population by biological and educational age groups, separations adjudicated, paid employees on position for which evaluation of occupational risk was done, persons working in hazardous conditions to agents harmful and hazardous to health, family and institutional foster care.
Like in the previous years the publication consists of review tables presenting major data on the voivodship in the year 2000, 2005-2012 and selected data on subregions for 2005 and 2012. The publication contains also detailed tables grouped into 16 thematic chapters. In this year’s edition every chapter was preceded by notes containing explanations regarding terminology, methodology and scope of information.
