The publication describes the socio-economic situation of the city of Tarnów, including among others demography, labour market, culture and tourism, municipal infrastructure, revenue and expenditure of the city budget. The synthesis is complemented by a summary of selected statistical data for 2022 compared to 2021.

The tabular part presents basic data for the city for the years 2010, 2021 and 2022. Moreover, a statistical portrait of Tarnów is presented against the background of Małopolskie Voivodship and selected cities with powiat status with a similar number of inhabitants.
