Publication ‘Structural changes of groups of the national economy entities recorded in the REGON register in Małopolskie Voivodship, 2025’ is the twenty-second edition of the study, presenting the most important information on the number and structure of national economy entities as at the end of 2025. The primary source of information for this publication is the national official register of national economy entities REGON, maintained by the President of the Statistics Poland.

The main part of the publication contains of an extensive set of tables presenting selected groups of entities. The data are presented by sections and divisions of the Polish Classification of Activities, broken down by legal forms, ownership sectors, types of activity, expected number of employed persons, and by subregions, powiats and gminas. In order to show the dynamics of the changes taking place and to make it possible to follow development trends, the current information was compared with the previous year’s results, and a retrospective approach was used in the overview tables. In addition, the publication contains a summary enriched with graphic illustrations and methodological notes with basic concepts and definitions containing explanations of terminology, methodology and scope of information.
