The publication contains a synthetic description of the social and economic situation of Nowy Sącz, including among others demography, labour market, education, culture and tourism, municipal infrastructure, revenue and expenditure of the city budget. The content was supplemented with a summary illustrating changes in the socio-economic situation of Nowy Sącz in 2022 in comparison with 2021.

The tabular part presents the city against the background of Małopolskie Voivodship and basic data for years 2010, 2021 and 2022. The statistical portrait of Nowy Sącz has been also depicted on the background of selected cities with powiat status with a similar number of population.
